What’s the Difference Between A Mini Session and The Full Experience?
Mini Sessions are quick and fun, lasting about 15-20 minutes—perfect for capturing the ideal shot. You’ll walk away with two key shots, typically one of the entire family and another of the kids.
Full Studio Sessions offer a relaxed, creative atmosphere with an hour to capture a variety of shots. There’s time to fine-tune details, explore different poses, and really capture the dynamic of your family. If you’re hoping to get individual shots, parent-child moments, or more creative images, the full session is the way to go. The full session also comes with a pre-session consultation. Mini sessions do not.
Ultimately, while mini sessions are great for simple needs, a full session provides an in-depth experience that results in a more varied and personalized experience. When you spend a bit more, you will get a lot more out of it!
What To Expect In A Mini Session
- Due to the short amount of time we have with you, only two combinations are promised from the session. The most popular combinations are; all the kids together and the whole family.
- We have to limit the number of people we can have in a mini session to a maximum of 6 adults. The lighting set up we use is not large enough for more than that. If you have more than that, no problem, but you’ll need to book a full session.
- If one of your babies has their own baby, GREAT! As long as there are no more than 6 subjects, we can fit you all in a mini session.
- Non – Allergenic pets are welcome (a $50 pet fee will be charged)

FAQ’s
Q: What should we wear?
A: You can keep it simple with jeans and white t-shirts, or you can make it fancy. The best is to agree on a color palette and then don’t stress.
Q: Do we just pick one scene for our mini session?
A: That’s correct. Each mini session is scheduled for 20 minutes. That’s just enough time to get a full set of images from one scene. If you’d like to shoot both scenes, you must schedule two separate mini sessions. Or, come back next year for a different one.
Q: What size are the digital files I will be receiving?
A: The files are big enough to print high-quality 8×10’s.
Q: How long does it take to get the pictures after the session?
A: From the minute you order, you can expect a digital download in your email inbox in just about 5 business days.
Q: When Should I Make an Appointment?
A: Now! This season flies by quicker than any other. Plus, we only have 30 spots and we do expect to book them all. Do yourself a favor and lock it in now. We will take care of the rest.
