What should we wear?
You can keep it simple with jeans and white t-shirts, or you can make it fancy. We have red aprons for you to put over it in the kitchen. Or your favorite Christmas pajamas are always cute!

What is the difference between a mini session and a full session?
Our mini sessions are designed to be quick and focused, with enough time for approximately 2–3 different groupings or combinations.
A full session is a completely customized experience. It includes a creative consultation, outfit changes, multiple backdrop or scene variations, and the flexibility to create a much more extensive collection of images.
Can we use both holiday sets?
Each mini session reservation is for one holiday set. Because each session is efficiently designed to give you 2-3 combinations, we aren’t able to switch between sets during the same appointment.
If you love both scenes, you’re welcome to book a separate mini session for the second set, subject to availability.
Are pets allowed?
Our mini sessions are designed to move on an efficient schedule to accommodate a handful of beautiful high quality images. Due to the timeframe we’re unable to accommodate pets. If you want a timeless portrait with your pets, consider our full family session experience.
Is the Classic Christmas scene the same as last year?
No! Our Classic Christmas scene gets a fresh take each year. While it always stays true to a clean, timeless Christmas aesthetic, we create a new interpretation each season so your photos feel special and unique.
Can we bring our own props?
Absolutely! You’re welcome to bring a meaningful prop or two. Just keep in mind that anything that requires significant setup, assembly, or hauling may take away from your time in front of the camera.
Is there a recommended scene for different ages?
For little ones, we recommend Classic Christmas, especially for children under 2. This scene includes a floor-level setup, which allows us to photograph babies and toddlers independently.
Our Christmas Kitchen and other non-themed scene are designed primarily for standing and seated family portraits and do not offer the same ability to photograph a baby alone. If those individual holiday portraits are important to you, Classic Christmas is the best choice.
How many people can be included in a mini session?
Our holiday mini session setups are designed to accommodate smaller groups only. If you have an extended family or a larger group, we recommend booking a full studio session. This gives us the time and flexibility to photograph everyone comfortably and create a wider variety of combinations.
What happens if we're late?
Because our holiday sessions are scheduled back-to-back, we cannot extend your session if you arrive late. We recommend arriving with enough time to park, get everyone ready, and be in the studio at your scheduled time.
Can I purchase more than the 3 included images?
Absolutely! Your mini session includes 3 digital images, and you’ll also have the opportunity to purchase additional images and holiday products.
We offer exclusive holiday collections as well as individual products including additional digitals, Christmas cards, ornaments, acrylic blocks, prints, albums, and more.
When and how do I choose my images?
After your session, we’ll invite you back to the studio for your Big Reveal — the exciting part where you see your photographs for the first time!
During this appointment, we’ll help you decide how you’d like to enjoy your images, whether that’s digitally, in print, or through one of our beautiful holiday products. You’ll select your favorites and complete your purchase during this appointment.
Is retouching included?
Yes! Your purchased images include high-quality professional retouching so your final photographs look polished, beautiful, and true to you.
What size are the digital files I will be receiving?
The files are big enough to print high-quality 8×10’s.
What if we need to cancel or reschedule?
We completely understand that sometimes circumstances change. Because our holiday sets are limited edition and our session dates are in high demand, we ask for at least 14 days’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. This gives us enough time to offer your session to another family.
Changes made with less than 14 days’ notice are subject to a $50 rescheduling fee.
When will my images and products be ready?
Your turnaround time begins when you place your order at your Big Reveal appointment, not on the day of your photo session.
Because holiday orders are produced specifically for you, production times vary depending on the products you select. We highly recommend in early November for least stressful experience, and before December arrives at the very latest.
